As a therapist, my main priority is creating a safe space in which you feel comfortable enough to discuss any topics without judgement. I meet clients where they are so they are able to get the best care possible. Therapy is not a one size fits all and neither are the modalities in which I use.
Building rapport with my clients is important and in doing so I can give them a safe, nonjudgmental and encouraging space. I hope to help my clients feel safe, heard, and validated for who they are, while gently pushing them to grow past their comfort zone. We work as a team through the entire process from creating a plan to implementing it into their lives.
I will be honest with clients, help them challenge their thoughts and guide clients to hold themselves accountable. I also believe therapy can be fun while still uncovering uncomfortable truths that people often wish to avoid.
