I can help my clients identify the barriers that are impacting their ability to function successfully in their work and home lives. Once we identify the barriers we can work together to treat and remove the barriers so that they can be successful in navigating life’s challenges in a healthy way.
While working with my clients, my goal is to listen carefully and try to get an understanding of how their mental health is impacting their life. I use a professional, warm, accepting approach and encourage my clients to share their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. I have a genuine interest in the mental health and wellness of my clients and hope to provide the encouragement and support they seek to achieve their goals.
While I am a new outpatient mental health provider I have worked as a nurse in the psychiatric field for many years. I have been nominated for a daisy award by a client and I have received a nursing excellence award. These recognitions are based upon my approachability and willingness to go the extra mile to provide the best care for my clients. I have been told that patients and coworkers can feel my genuine concern and desire to help others. These characteristics will keep my clients involved in their treatment and give them the drive to participate in and continue with their treatment.
