Personal Experience & Biography

I am constantly growing my specialties and use them to help clients with whatever issue they may be facing in the present moment. I work to help clients see that they are not alone in their struggles. Mental health is not something to be ashamed of. I am actively working to be a better trauma-informed therapist, and to be better educated on the complexities of grief. I am expected to become a LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) by mid-2026, as this takes 2 years minimum to complete.

I focus on whatever is most important to the client. I will not “throw the book” at you, but I want to personalize every session to whatever you feel is best for you. There will never be any judgement in our sessions, as I work to help you feel comfortable and for our sessions to be a safe space. I’ve heard countless stories of clients being discouraged because they don’t feel as though their therapist listens or that the therapist focuses on themselves and not on the client. This will never be the case in our sessions, as you are the focus of the sessions. YOU are the expert of your own life and should be treated as such!

I will go at your own pace. If you need slower sessions to unpack something that has been traumatic for you, we will go slow. If you have something urgent that you want to dive right into, lets do it! There is no “one size fits all” for therapy, so each of your sessions will be customized to fit you and your personality. You are unique, so I believe your sessions should be unique as well!
