Olivia Williams, PhD, LPCA is a developmental psychologist and is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in Kentucky specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and children & adolescent counseling. I have experience in a vast range of mental health specialties and have experience with different populations. I utilize an approach based on individualized needs, but some common approaches include person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Using personalized approaches allows me to explore all areas that may be impacting one’s overall wellbeing.
I aspire to provide a safe space to clients as they share their most vulnerable thoughts and feelings as well as process and explore struggles and barriers that may be stunting growth and change in personal life trajectories. My overall goal for the children, adolescents, and families I work with is to administer positive change, foster independence, and allow clients to achieve their full potential!
I believe my clients continue to come back because they feel heard, seen, and respected during our treatment process. These characteristics develop a strong client-therapeutic alliance and empower clients through a trusting relationship. I will continue to foster an all-inclusive and non-judgmental environment to assist my clients in their therapeutic experience and reaching their personal treatment goals.
