I use a variety of evidence-based practices that I have been trained in, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, all from a trauma informed perspective, to address behavioral, cognitive, and emotional issues in a collaborative way to best meet each client’s needs. I specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, and anxiety, with the intention of helping clients find healing and emotional well-being.
First and foremost, I strive to be genuine in all our interactions. When you meet with me, you can expect authenticity and honesty. I believe that being true to oneself and others is the foundation for building trust and meaningful connections. In our sessions, you’ll find me open and straightforward, ready to engage in honest conversations.
Transparency is another key element of what I bring to our sessions. I believe in laying it all on the table, addressing issues head-on, and discussing matters with clarity. There are no hidden agendas or veiled intentions when we meet. You’ll know exactly where I stand, and I’ll encourage open dialogue.
Compassion is at the heart of my approach. I genuinely care about your well-being and am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for you. I’m here to listen, understand, and provide empathy when you need it most. Your concerns and emotions are important, and I’ll always approach them with compassion and kindness.
A good sense of humor is a powerful tool in our sessions. I believe that laughter can be a wonderful antidote to life’s challenges. You can expect moments of levity, even in the midst of serious discussions. Laughter can often provide a fresh perspective and help us navigate difficult topics with a lighter heart.
Lastly, my progressive mindset drives our sessions towards growth and positive change. I’m committed to staying updated on the latest information, research, and strategies that can benefit you. We’ll explore innovative approaches and solutions to help you progress in your journey, whether it’s personal growth, professional development, or any other aspect of your life.
I am a strong believer that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the biggest contributor to client success. Therefore I work very hard to create a safe, non-judgemental environment with unconditional positive regard for my clients.
