I believe that through exercises in the session as well as homework exercises outside of sessions, clients are helped to develop coping skills, whereby they can learn to change their own thinking, problematic emotions, and behavior.
I believe that communication skills, patience, respect, and confidence are vital when working with clients. I approach each client in a non-judgmental way while being observant, employing great listening skills, and establishing trust.
I believe that patients continue to come back to follow up visits because they feel safe to express their goals and continue to notice increased personal growth and awareness from their experience.
